Dustless Hardwood Floors to be highlighted in a future issue of
the Town Crier!
Dustless Hardwood Floors combines high quality craftsmanship with the latest technology in hardwood flooring. We install and refinish hardwood floors using a combination of equipment to bring 99% dust free sanding to our customers. Combined with our low VOC (volatile organic compounds), waterborne finishes and other Greenguard Certified products we are greatly improving the indoor air quality for our customers and employees and keeping harmful wood finish dust, on the government’s list of known carcinogens, out of homes and businesses.
At our own office and on the job, our company takes very seriously the three Rs – renew, reuse and recycle. From using recycled paper and emailing invoices and estimates, to utilizing “green” cleaners and installing a composter after taking part in the class organized by the Borough, we try to be as environmentally friendly as possible at our Haddon Ave location.
And for our customers, in addition to the traditional products you may know in hardwood flooring, we also offer wood from very renewable sources, such as bamboo and cork. We can also provide wood from vendors which only use FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified wood, to be sure your product is having the least amount of environmental impact as possible with responsible forest management.
Want to go further? We are also a source for reclaimed wood, allowing our customers to reuse wood from old houses, barns and factories that would have otherwise ended up in a landfill.
We also offer coupons to members of the Recycling Bank, an incentive program put into place by participating towns, rewarding households based on how much they recycle. After reading an article in the National Wood Flooring Association’s Magazine, we were also inspired to start a recycling initiative of our own, with the help of some local restaurants, to recycle wine corks into flooring. The wine corks, a totally recyclable material, can be made into cork floor tiles and other cork products. You can donate your wine corks at Tortilla Press and Tortilla Press Cantina.
